Rates Guide

Description of Air, Truck, Rail and Warehousing Rates  This section provides a general description of the air, truck, rail and warehousing rate programs offered by Gateway Transport.

Air Expedited Service by air can be expedited on a next day basis, second day basis or deferred basis.  A quote request is available here to obtain a quote for this type of service.

Truck  Sample LTL Rates  Rates for 1000 pounds from Los Angeles to a sample of twelve cities outside of California (Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, Memphis, Atlanta, Miami, Kansas City, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Portland and Seattle) and to ten California cities (San Francisco, San Jose, Sacramento, Redding, Modesto, San Diego, Fresno, Santa Maria, San Bernardino, Bakersfield). The rates are for NMFC product classes 60, 65, 70, 85, 92 and 100 and include expected days to deliver. The conditions of contract and carriage are included.

Truck 79% LTL Rates on line  Rates with quote numbers for shipments from Southern California to all of the United States.  After running your quote on line call Gateway Transport at 800 266-9770 to arrange for your first shipments.  An account code and password will then be given to you to continue to go on-line to get additional rates, arrange pickups, trace shipments, obtain proof of deliveries and invoices.

Truck  Standard Pallet Rates  Rates by pallet from Southern California by truck service to forty USA states with minimum charge, typical price per pallet for (4) four to (10) ten pallets. Conditions of contract and carriage are included.

Rail Deferred Pallet Rates  Rates by pallet from Southern California by rail service to twenty four USA states with minimum charge, typical price per pallet for (4) four to (10) ten pallets. Conditions of contract and carriage are included.

Truck California Full Truck Load Rates  Rates by mileage for full truck load exclusive service local within Southern California and from Southern California to Northern California.  Conditions of contract and carriage are included.

Rail USA Full Container Rates  To obtain today's best rate talk to your account rep by phone at 800 266-9770 or by filling out a request for quote form which will be returned to you as quickly as possible.

Warehousing and Distribution  This section contains information on over one million square feet of warehousing space available in Southern and Northern California and the distribution services available.

Request for rate quote  This section contains information on ways to obtains quotes.  Included is a fill out a form with shipment information that can be submitted electronically to Gateway Transport with a phone call response within thirty minutes during normal business hours. It will then be immediately documented to you either by fax or email.
