for approved accounts.
For shippers who
ship on a regular basis, the 80% discount
with a product class exception may be approved.
For example, a normal Class 50 to Class 70
product would be offered an FAK Class 50
exception, a Class 77 to Class 100 product would
be offered an FAK Class 70 exception, etc.
What is required after a rate is obtained and I
wish to ship?
You will receive
a quote number after your shipment is rated.
Then simply call Gateway Transport at 800
266-9770 with that quote number. We will set up your company as an
approved account and see if you might qualify
for an additional FAK discount. Then we
will schedule your shipment for a pickup.
Then you will receive a
tariff with account code and password
to continue to use the web directly without any
additional assistance from our company for quoting, pickups,
tracing. You will also receive a list of
phone, fax numbers and email addresses if you
prefer to continue to do business that way.
